Confirmation of business relationship

This serves to confirm that CIB (Pty) Ltd. has had a business relationship with Blackbird Construction since 2015.

In my dealings with Blackbird Construction, I can describe them as a professional company who seeks to build partnerships with their clients as opposed to merely providing a service.

I have always found them to share our Company’s values and understand the need for claims costs containment.

They go out of their way to gain an understanding of our business and offer/provide solutions that ultimately ensure that our business objectives are reached through a mutually beneficial partnership.

I recently lodged a claim under my CIB policy for damage to my roof caused by an intruder. I was informed that the above Company will contact me in order to inspect the damaged area and provide me/Insurers with a quotation. I was called [shortly after the closing of business] by the Owner, Mr Zayne Isaacs that they will inspect my property the following day. At this point in time, I had not submitted my completed claim form.

The following day [Friday] Zayne called me to firstly confirm his appointment and arrived at our premises quite promptly following his call.  We gave him the details of the incident and he took photographs and assured us that he would get back to us as soon as the quotation was available.

Early the following week, he informed us that his report has been submitted to the Insurer/Broker.  There was a delay in the claim being approved due to a technicality, however, during this time Blackbird Construction assured me that they will make contact with me as soon as they received the approval.  The Claim was approved late on Friday the following week.  Thought to myself, that they would most likely only contact me on Monday, to my surprise their offices called on Saturday and their Supervisor popped around [by appointment] on the same day to ensure they have correct measurements so that the material could be ordered on Monday.  The job was completed on Thursday, 4 August 2022 to our complete satisfaction.

We had a bit of rainfall since completion and to date am very happy with the results.  Whilst we did not have any extreme weather conditions since I have no doubt their workmanship will stand the tests ahead.  If however there should be any unforeseen problems, I have no doubt that Blackbird Construction will review and rectify accordingly.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Blackbird Construction for their significant and outstanding performance, not only in the quality of their workmanship but also in their conduct and in the way they treat their customers/clients.  I was kept appraised of the situation throughout the process and am overwhelmed that a site inspection was done by Mr Isaacs following completion.   They are a Company I would certainly recommend to everyone.
