REPORT

Damage Report:

  • Upon my inspection of the affected property, it was more than clear that the upper door of the stable door, at the rear of the kitchen, had been completely ripped from the supporting upright panel.
  • This was due to the upper door panel of the stable door being blown from the rear at a high speed/force and knocking against the adjacent wall.
  • Due to this, the upper door panel snapped and detached from the rest of the door and the frame, subsequently falling into the alley way beside the home.
  • The upper door panel then broke into multiple pieces and the glazing cracked.
  • The upper door panel was/is not salvageable at all.
  • A new stable door was purchased and fitted.
  • The new door needed to be coated with multiple coats of varnish.
