BURST PIPE CLAIM

ASSESSMENT

Black Bird Construction was contacted by the client’s insurance company to assess and conduct repair work. An assessment took place at the client’s property in Royal Ascot, where various items were inspected and a quotation was then generated and accepted by the insurer and client. Below is a breakdown of what transpired during the claim and excerpts of the assessor’s findings have been included as a means to explain the various building work required to repair the damages. The scope of work has also been included along with photos of the damages before and after the repairs were completed. DAMAGE REPORT

A burst pipe was identified at the property and our plumbing team was sent out immediately to conduct repairs to the pipework. A breakdown of the repairs has been detailed below:

Plumbing works | Emergency repairs:

Our plumbing team was sent out to conduct emergency repairs to a burst pipe in the client’s garden.
The burst pipe was exposed in the garden near the washing line.
Our plumbing team conducted a sectional repair on the burst 22mm polycop main supply.
Second burst/leak – Our plumbing team reported the secondary leak to the managing agents, the leak is outside Unit 35 in the driveway on common property. An updated report will be provided if neccessary.

Plumbing works | Emergency repairs:

Note: After hour rates applied.
Our plumbing team was sent out to conduct emergency repairs to a burst pipe in the client’s garden.
The burst pipe was exposed in the garden near the washing line.
Our plumbing team conducted a sectional repair on the burst 22mm polycop main supply.
Once the repairs were completed the affected area was covered with soil as previously found.
NOTE (Second burst/leak): Our plumbing team reported the secondary leak to the managing agents, the leak is outside Unit 35 in the driveway on common property.
